Barber Ford was originally established in 1949
by R.E. Barber and was located on the corner of River Avenue and 7th
Street in Holland, Michigan. This location thrived as Holland's downtown
grew, but by the early sixties we were looking for room to grow. Construction
at our current location, 640 East 8th Street, Holland, MI. began in
1964 and we moved in on January 1st, 1965. The dealership continued
to expand. In 1980 R.E. Barber passed away, and long-time employees Doug
Wierda and Ed Bosch purchased the dealership in 1982. D & Ed decided to
include the next generation in their businesses' success. Ever since January
2012 the dealership has been owned by Curt Wierda, Chuck Wierda, and Tom
Genzink.
